The Umbrella Academy

The story begins as 43 women deliver babies on the same day despite having any symptoms of pregnancy. Luther, Diego, Allison, Klaus, Number Five, Ben, and Vanya are 7 of those children who were adopted billionaire Sir Reginald Hargreeves. Sir Reginald grooms them into superheroes. The children grow up and apart only to reunite at their father’s funeral. Upon suspicion, the siblings decide to solve their father murders while preventing an apocalypse.

The story is based on the comics ‘The Umbrella Academy’ written by the famous My Chemical Romance band vocalist Gerard Way. The target audience is young adults so even though it may seem cool and fun, parental guidance is advised for younger children. You can watch the complete first season of 10 episodes on Netflix.

The show focuses on both women’s obsession with each other amid a load of laughs, twist, and interesting plot turns. Season 2 is set to be even more entertaining than the first and is one you surely won’t want to miss.

After a series of unsettling supernatural events, the main character tries to return to some form of normalcy despite the consequences of their adventures. If you haven’t seen Seasons One or Two yet there is still a little time to binge. Season 3 is set to premiere on July 4, 2019.
